WhatsApp Feature now for Facebook users

Since Facebook buying Whatsapp in 2014 for $19 billion and reportedly looking ways to monetize it.Facebook added a new feature to the platform that will allow users to share their information ocross to WhatsApp.

The new feature is in beta mode of Facebook app. No official announcement have been maid so far.
the option to share something comes from a drop down menu with the options of share, Share now with friends and send as message, you can send on friends Timeline of you can share it to your Facebook page or to whats app like a link that other person can click and visite.
