There are Two Black Holes at the Center of our Galaxy!

The formation of our Galaxy suggests that there is a friend on the supermassive black hole. In fact, there are a pair of supermassive black holes. And it's common that pairs of supermassive black holes should exist in the universe.

The supermassive black hole in our Galaxy, called Sgr A*, has a mass of about four Million times that of our Sun.

So what is Black Hole?

Well, a black hole is placed in space where gravity is so much strong that nothing can escape from this force even light can't escape. The scientist is studying Sgr A* from the past 20 years. Around Sgr A* there is a dense cluster of stars by measurements of this dense cluster Scientists have to confirm the existence of a Supermassive black hole, and they can measure its mass. Based on the study, there might be a second black hole nearby Sgr A* it is at least 100,000 times the mass of our Sun.

Supermassive Black Holes

Almost every galaxy, including our Galaxy Milky Way, has a supermassive black hole at its center, So what is Supermassive black hole. A black hole that is more than a million times the mass of our son is considered supermassive.

Study Suggest that there is a second supermassive black hole with a mass of 100,000 times the mass of the Sun. Supermassive black holes have gotten a lot of attention lately. Because of the recent image of a giant black hole that is in the center of the Galaxy M87.

If there are two massive black holes in the center of our galaxy orbiting each other, they will emit gravitational waves. The LIGO-Virgo observatories have been detecting gravitational wave radiation from merging stellar-mass black holes and neutron stars.
But we can't detect a gravitational wave from Black holes pair because of the frequencies too low for the LIGO-Virgo to detect. But a space-based detector as LISA maybe able to detect these ways, and we can confirm if there are a pair of black holes or the massive black hole at the center or our Galaxy is alone.
