Secretary General of UN Condemns Mastung Blast
Secretary General of the United Nations has strongly condemned the heinous and cowardly terrorist attack in Mastung in which 128 people lost their lives and two hundred injured.
In a statement, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres expressed deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and Pakistan and wished a speedy and full recovery to those who were injured.
The United Nations Security Council has also strongly condemned the “heinous” terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
It reaffirmed that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security.
The Security Council underlined the need to bring perpetrators, organizers and sponsors of these reprehensible acts of terrorism to justice.
